My name is Rubi and I am the person behind the ridiculous stories you can read about on this blog. I started writing when I was 19 to vent out the frustrations of a recent breakup, okay, I was dumped but that’s irrelevant. An article I wrote in tears at 3 am somehow blew up and has fought to stay on the first page of Google for anyone out there wondering on how to quickly get over a guy.
After getting bored of writing about study tips and dorm décor I decided to start this little space on the internet, and after a college graduation,cross country move and entering the workforce I am back to blogging!
My goal four years ago was to write about the things I myself was interested in, which included how to study for an exam without ever reading a textbook and ways to deal with annoying roommates. Now 23, with much bigger problems, my focus has shifted to giving a voice to how freaking difficult it is to be in your early twenties.
In typical twenty something fashion, I spend most of my time watching way too much reality television, attending grad school while working full time and spend all my money on toys my cat has little interest in.
Stick around to hear more about what living in the nation’s capital is like when you hate to talk politics and the only friend you’ve managed to make came from the animal shelter.
