November 16th marks the one year anniversary of my boyfriend agreeing to listen to all my rants. Okay, it was a little more romantic than that but that’s not what this post is about. As hopeless romantics, we celebrated every month-aversary without a care about how crazy everyone thought we were or how stupid it might have sounded. After a year of getting to know one another, reaching levels I hoped to never knew existed, I can proudly say that I think we’ve finally figured each other out and are happy with how we lucked out.
Don’t get me wrong, we fight, like a lot. As in 2am screaming at each other, I may or may not have broken his only two bowls during one of those I-rather-walk-through-the-snow-tundra-than-spend-another-second-with-you fights. But we always seem to get over it and move on with our lives, so somehow we’ve managed. We’re dramatic and opinionated, and luckily, we’ve found our happy balance. Think of Noah and Allie except he calls me loud and needy and I like to remind him about all the things that annoy me about him. It’s looks strange from the outside but on the inside we’re perfectly content.
I knew I wanted to document our anniversary on the blog but I wasn’t sure how. With most of you not knowing much about me, I was convinced you wouldn’t be interested in our sappy love story. Instead our anniversary sparked an idea in my mind, one that I hope people will be as excited about as I am. Throughout our relationship we’ve been 100% ourselves, almost to a fault. When I’m with him my words have absolutely no filter, which can lead to some pretty crazy shit coming out of my mouth. I always laugh when I think about the comebacks I manage to come up with during our everyday banter, which is why I’ve decided to start documenting them. Think of the just girly thing images but much more snarky and hilarious.
To kick off the series here are the three most recent crazy things I’ve said to my boyfriend, and to keep up with all the other things I say, follow me on Twitter or search for #crazythingsivesaidtomybf.

Are any of you in a long term, long-ish term relationship? Do you find the things you say during everyday arguments get more ridiculous as time goes on or am I just turning into my mother?
